The Timeline is one of only very few latops that can boast battery life of up to 8 hours, it's quite an achievement when you consider that this is by no means, a low spec'd laptop. Although users have come close, 8 hours could be a little optimistic in real life terms, but users, have managed squeeze out 7 hours of usage, which is quite amazing.

multi touch allows you to make certain gestures with two fingers, which will control the desktop and open windows in various manners. You can for example, pinch two fingers together, to make a window smaller, or move two finger apart to increase the size of a window. Multi touch quickly becomes instinctive, and increases the user experience dramatically. We really love the inclusion of a full sized keyboard with numerical keypad! Only available on the 5810t, this feature makes it the most attractive of the range from the start. Simply being able to tap out numbers on a keypad may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but after using it for a while, we realised how much time is saved, and generally improved the user experience.
